Mondays in the SLC

 Monday
  • Monday Movies

Gallivan Center in Salt Lake City hosts Monday Movies the month of July. This year's theme is Cary Grant. Starting next Monday every Monday in July they will show a different Cary Grant movie. Take a blanket or low backed lawn chair and some treats to enjoy movies under the SLC skies.  Note: Not sure what they are doing about the construction going on at the Gallivan Center and how this will effect the show.

  2. Brooke is correct. She actually was awesome enough to contact the Gallivan people and this is what they sent back...

    "Hello Brooke,

I’m glad someone is paying attention! When we decided on the Cary Grant theme we had people in the office call out all their favorites to add to our online voting and Roman Holiday was one. Then our online voters actually voted this movie in to the top four! I guess the film was originally written for Cary Grant but Gregory Peck actually got the part. I will be making the change and today, and just may slip in Father Goose. J

As for where the movie will be located, we are actually pulling out the screen tonight to see where the best place is during construction. Unfortunately, the movies won’t be on grass area due to construction, however, we will have plenty of seats for people to come and enjoy. Let me know if you have any more questions.

    Thanks!"
